April Aruna isnapos;t my name, but I feel quite cosy with it. Not that it was easy to choose one. All names bring on associations - think of Eve, Emma, Eurydice, Sophia, Angelica or Mary - so to find something fresh took a while. A poem and a butterfly, Delias Aruna, eventually helped me out.

I donapos;t know what Aprilapos;s voice will have to tell. To begin with, Iapos;ll add the poem that inspired the first half of the name. Itapos;s "Song" by William Watson:

April, April,
Laugh thy girlish laughter;
Then, the moment after,
Weep they girlish tears,
April, that mine ears
Like a lover greetest,
If I tell thee, sweetest,
All my hopes and fears.
April, April,
Laugh thy golden laughter,
But, the moment after,
Weep thy golden tears
